This is an excellent condition set of PING Eye2+ Beryllium Copper (BeCu) Black Dot irons 3 - SW with Ping KT steel shafts with Standard profile Black Huon velvet grips that are also in very good playable condition.
Please note that the #3 iron is the Ping Eye2 model, which predates the 1992-94 Eye2+ series and therefore does still have the “square grooves “ that caused lengthy debate between Ping and the USGA and the R&A before the revised Eye2+ model was launched.
Apart from the #3 iron, the set has the same Serial number throughout and as often offered by Ping, also has the name of the original owner engraved on the hosels. We are not showing that engraving in our photographs to preseve the privacy of that initial owner.
The clubs are in excellent cosmentic condition , now visible after our cleaning of accumulated “grot” . The dark brown patina will however begin to return with normal weathering over a matter of weeks.
The clubs are standard length – the 5 iron measures 38 inches. .
This set has had limited and careful use and shows only minor marks on any surface. Marking of the faces shows very little use. Grooves are still crisp and sharply defined.
