This is an unusual condition set of HONMA New LB-280 Cavity Back irons 4 - 11 (8 – clubs) by Hiro Honma of Japan with Honma Featherweight R-1 Regular (Graphite) shafts. The clubs have Karma velvet grips in very good condition. The clubs are standard length – the 5 iron measures 38 inches.
This set has had careful use and shows minor marking of the faces and of the soles. All grooves are crisp and well defined and there are only normal impact marks on any of the heads. These clubs a great find for a lover of classic top shelf golf clubs. Best estimates are that this set is 15-20 years old.
