Excellent collectible PING ISI BeCu Black Dot irons 1 - W plus S1, S2, S3 and Lob w. Precision Rifle 5.5 firm steel
This is a remarkable condition set of PING ISI BeCu Black Dot irons 1 - W plus S1, S2, S3 and Lob wedges with Precision Rifle 5.5 firm steel shafts with Ping Golf Pride velvet grips that are also in near new condition. That is a total of 14 clubs in the set.
The clubs are standard length – the 5 iron measures 38 inches.
This model was produced in 1998 /99 in three metal variations – standard stainless steel, this premium option of Beryllium Copper (BeCu) and the highly valued limited production Nickel version.
This BeCu ISI set is in near new cosmetic condition and has been re-shafted with Precision Rifle 5.5 Firm steel shafts and Ping Golf Pride grips.
This set of 1998/9 classics is very playable but in this excellent condition, it stakes a claim to being retained as a collectible. This model of the ISI is uncommon in this condition and is very collectible.
This set has had very limited use and shows almost no marks of use on any surface. The faces show grooves that are still crisp and sharply defined.
