We have received a series of original Ping putters from an enthusiast collector who claimed to acquired these putters over an extended period from the Professional golfers who used them in competition.
No alteration or refurbishment of the putters was undertaken. The only record maintained by the collector was a paper label attached to the grip with the name of the professional from whom they were acquired. In the case of the putter listed here, the name attached is Rodger Davis.
In the absence of more detailed information, we make no claim regarding the actual previous ownership of this putter but offer it as a classic that, with a new grip would still perform as new. If left untouched, it makes an interesting talking point.
